IN THE STUDIO with Aleah Chapin | figurative oil painting
a virtual art talk and demo
Sunday, December 6 from 2-4 pm EST
Join us from anywhere!
One of the things that we have missed most during the pandemic, is inviting the public to our studio to watch and learn about an artist’s creative process through painting, drawing, or sculpture demonstrations. Always fun and informative, watching artists work never gets old, is enlightening, and deeply satisfying.
Although we can’t have big crowds in our studio right now, we can invite you attend our new virtual art demo series from the comfort of your own home. All of you introverts may even prefer it!
Artists, collectors, students, art lovers, or just the plain curious will love these events.
Be sure to check out the other demos in the series.
This oil painting demo will be held live via ZOOM from the artist’s studio so that you can be up close and personal and listen to Aleah talk about her process, materials, and inspiration while watching her work on a piece from the beginning throughout two hours. Aleah’s layering process is very slow and time-consuming, so in order to see her work from start to finish, much of the demo will be pre-recorded and edited. Plenty of time will be set aside for Q & A with Aleah.
After registering, you will receive an email confirmation. One day prior to the event, we will email you a link to join the ZOOM event. Those who are not able to join our live event will be given access to a recording of the event for one week following the demo. A link to the recording will be sent one day after the live event. All events will be held EST.
