By request, we have added an evening watercolor class! Learn to paint with watercolor and take advantage of its transparent qualities. Students will learn how to use the characteristics of water combined with paint to create line, value and color. You will paint from life from a still life or from a set up provided by the instructor. Learning composition and the structure of a painting will be a large component of this class.
Feel free to bring a snack or sack dinner with you. We have fridge, microwave and convection oven.

About the instructor:
Elizabeth Allen received a BA degree in Fine Arts and in English from the University of the South, Sewanee, TN. She has studied extensively with internationally recognized painters Jack Beal and Sondra Freckleton. In addition, she has studied with Janet Fish, Philip Pearlstein, Jim Aplin, Mary B. Lynch and Joe Helseth. She has taught over the last twenty years primarily in the medium of watercolor. Her work been exhibited in juried shows nationwide and is in many private collections.
