For ages 5-18 years
Townsend Atelier instructor Kristin Kendall is now offering private lessons in drawing, painting, art fundamentals, and application for ages 5 and up. Lessons will be individualized to the student with objectives, interests, and ability in mind.
Each session is 1 hour in duration but may be increased according to age and objectives. Lessons may be scheduled on a week to week basis or in a discounted series of 4 and 8. All lessons will be held at Townsend Atelier.
About the Instructor:
Kristin Kendall (b.1986) is a progressive, internationally recognized artist whose primary objective is creating realistic representations of the human figure. Her formal training comes from Carson Newman University where she earned her B.A. in Art in 2008. Eventually realizing her skill should be shared, she received her certification to teach art from Lincoln Memorial University in 2011. Kristin fulfills her passion for capturing the likeness and essence of people by commissioning portraits. She is a member of the Portrait Society of America through which her work has been internationally recognized and continues to disclose her art on local, regional, and national levels through exhibits and competitions.The unique combination of her natural creativity, formal training in design, and fascination for architecture have influenced her art with imagination, detail, and precision. Her work speaks for itself, capturing the simplicity and refinement of every day life.
