In this five-session class, Maria will teach students how to create a portrait bust from life.  Working from the same live model each week, students will learn valuable skills including techniques with tools and materials, basic anatomy of the head, and how to achieve a likeness.   Maria will also touch on how to prep your piece for firing and post finishing.  If you are a sculptor wanting to improve your portrait bust game or you are a painter seeking a way to keep your portraits from flattening out on the canvas,  or you just want to get your hands in some clay,  this will be a great class for you!  Model fee is included in the course fee.
